Item hasn't turned up

Ordered a portable bbq as a gift, notification email advised delivery on June 3rd, didn't turn up, dpd site now says parcel is on its way back to bodum, have sent two emails and tried to phone, no response to emails and phone cuts off after 30 seconds, disgraceful customer service feels like they have stolen my money now

Absolutely awful customer service and…

Absolutely awful customer service and very similar to the last review. The cafetiere that I bought leaves the coffee full of grains. Contacted customer services and was asked to send them a video which I did. I was then sent a guide on how to use a plunger!! Multiple emails for refund have gone unanswered and phone just keeps ringing. Complete rip off and not sure what else I can do

I do not recomand Bistro blender.

My blender (Bistro) which costed over 1000kr in Norway cracked beside of the blade.
It says to be dishwashersafe, but it got many cracked marks after a few times in my dishwasher and now totally cracked. I have never had such an awful blender. And I have neither seen that a blender could be broken this way. My previous blender last at least 10 years of use til I dropped it on the floor by mistake. This one last not longer than three years with minimally use.

No customer service

Absolutely no response from customer service. Do not expect to be able to issue returns or inquiries about your order. I expected more from a multi-national company like this.

Avoid

Still waiting on an order from over 8 weeks ago. Absolutely no communication about it being late. It is nearly impossible to contact customer service through multiple channels. Don't bother with the phone number - it cuts off after 30 seconds on hold.

Don't buy directly from Bodum

Don't buy directly from Bodum, HORRIBLE customer service! I ordered an electric kettle and received a regular stove top kettle instead. I've emailed them numerous time with not a single respond other than 1 auto response from my initial email. I've tried searching for a customer service phone number but couldn't find anything. They lost my business, hopefully no one else will have to deal with this same situation.

Awful company service and overpriced…

Awful company service and overpriced products that break easily then you are left chasing emails from uncaring and unhelpful bodum reps.
I shall never purchase another product from this awful company, read the reviews they are terrible I wish I would have done so before buying.

When I googled Bodum customer service…

When I googled Bodum customer service these reviews came up and it unfortunately supported what I have already experienced which is really bad. Bought a grinder and its a terrible mess and poor design. Bodum wont respond. The entire experience from ordering to delivery and product quality is beyond awful. I am not even a complainer just cant believe how bad this experience was and had to share.

Awful service

Awful service. Late delivery, their carrier were asking me for import taxes which cost more than my order (I wasn't aware I was ordering from overseas when I used a UK site and paid in sterling). When I queried this my order was bumped up to priority delivery but after a week there were no shipping updates whatsoever. Asked for a refund and I'm still waiting for that to come through. Will never use again.

Bad company

Bad company. Never order from their website again. They send me product but defected and ask me to send back from. The the Netherlands to their warehouse in Denmark and won’t cover the shipping cost.( even if the terms and conditions say so ) it’s a scam!

Refused to replaced damaged goods

I ordered a number of items, including a set of four black Douro bowls to complete my service at special offer price. Delivery was VERY slow: it took over a month to arrive. And because of poor packaging, the bowls arrived smashed and in pieces. Although I have an alternative European address to my UK one, Customer Service refused to issue a replacement set of bowls to either address and processed a refund. I now of course cannot complete the set. Atrocious packing and poor customer service.

Can only echo other comments

Can only echo other comments - awful online service, goods sit in Portugal with no sign of movement days after they are meant to arrive and customer service is dismissive. Avoid at all costs.
Update to my experience - after what others have seen with a standard reply from Bodum about it being the carrier’s issue (dhl should be jumping on them for this) I filed a PayPal claim. Bodum didn’t even reply to PayPal’s requests so the refund sailed through. It seems like a company that might not be around much longer.
